Hi Suzanne,
Firstly - congratulations!! I think this is a great idea. You have clearly managed to capture a very difficult audience with just the right pitch of music and interactive learning that will keep our young ones engaged whilst learning a new skill.

Secondly, I need to praise you also for sharing your story (bio) and recognising that there is a significant gap in learning, targeting children from such a young age can only benefit recovery and outcome from cardiac arrest.

Overall - professionally I am very impressed and look forward to seeing the second cohort of your work đź‘Ť

Very empowering! I recently attended to a casualty in a local shopping centre...I was surprised that in a group of 20+ people – I was the only person present with first aid knowledge. I most definitely support such an idea – the earlier this is learned and rehearsed – the better prepared we will become at supporting those who are in need. Even if it's just comforting to loved ones knowing someone was there, and someone tried.

The Learning for Life Programs seems like a wonderful concept, I have never heard of teaching those vital life saving skills to children through music – love the motto! Everyone can save a life!

I personally will recommend these Programs, everyone should have this book and cd in their homes. Every school should have them also. It could save a life, and I've been in that position where I needed emergency treatment fast and have had to rely on a child to get the emergency services to my side quickly. In my case it was a teenager who responded, and I often wonder if I only had my grandaughter there to help me, would it have been a different outcome. This is why I recommend DR'S ABC Programs, they are so important. I urge All to engage in her wonderful work.

Hi Suzanne - wow these are amazing and I am impressed with how you have taken a serious life event and used it to inform and teach children - fantastic! I love the words, music and how you have set out your website. I will see if I know anyone who would be interested in having a look at your products and let others know about what you do.

I loved the DR’S ABC music CD youtube clip. It’s awesome!!!
I believe that first aid should be a part of everybody’s life, and there need to be more initiatives, such as yours, that aim to teach young people these lifesaving skills.
I’ll definitely be recommending your book and CD to those I know in early childhood education, it’s absolutely fantastic. Keep up the good work, what a difference you are making.

Nice work Suzanne
I've done quite a few school visits in my time, and I often wondered about a more structured format.
I've been to a few kids that have seen some pretty emotionally acute situations too (domestic violence, overdoses, psychiatric outbursts, vehicle crashes, etc.) Your program can only help their resilience in these situations.
More power to you! Well done :)

I have a nephew that is autistic and has seizures, so for the past 7+ years we have taught my niece (his sister) about CPR and this book/cd is great. We play it in the car and sing along and it keeps all information fresh in my nieces head so if anything ever happens (fingers crossed it never does) she will know exactly what to do ??.
Looking forward to your program 2 being published, I'll be buying that one also.
Thank you so much and keep up the great work you are doing.

Thank you for sharing your initiative and program. I currently train early childhood qualifications and first aid. I can't think of a better program to guide children in understanding the importance of health, well being and how they can be prepared for emergencies. I look forward to following your journey.

Hi Suzanne There is often the notion that someone else will help in emergency situations, but what happens when a youth is alone with an adult and their lives are left in the hands of a child? Your video captures a very vital audience to teach youth of all ages, how to respond in an emergency situation. The concept of your video and materials provides parents and professionals that work with youth, a tool to implement that's effective and easy to employ. Your work is valuable and I can see how it can be incorporated into life skills curricula. I look forward to sharing your program with colleagues, staff, and parents.

Very Respectfully,
